ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH Among the oldest Roman Catholic church in the province of Albay is the church of Saint Rose of Lima. It was constructed in 1660 by the natives through the supervision and control of Franciscan Missionaries. Nowadays, the church is one of the major tourist attractions because of its ancient architectural style and natural beauty.

BALUARTE TOWER The 16th century old Baluarte Tower ruins is one of the landmark of Christianityin this municipality. Long before, it was used as watch tower by the natives for the incoming Moro Marauders. Today, the remains of Baluarte watch tower solidly stand, symbol of a strong Christian faith.
